The Heanor 5 mile race is a popular event in the summer calender. Now into it's 12th year and growing year on year it takes in the idylic setting of Shipley Hall Cricket Club. The 5 mile race is run over a figure of eight course through Shipley Park finishing at Cricket Club. While the shorter 2 mile fun run also finishes there is open to all ages.
The race will be followed by the presentation and a normally keenly contested ‘Chunder Mile’.
Heanor Running Club hope to make this a family evening and everyone is more than welcome to enjoy this beautiful scenic venue. So why not come and join us for what is usually a good night for all the family!
