Really great midsummer 10k.I wanted to say thank you to the marshals were fantastic ,cheerful and encouraging.
Did I read somewhere you were going to post out the prizes, maybe there weren’t any for the age categories ?

We’re really pleased you enjoyed the event, we were really pleased we were able to put on the Midsummer Festival despite all the restrictions and regulations we had to abide by.
With regard to the age groups, we decided to keep the event really simple this year, prioritising an event that ran smoothly and safely. With this we chose to things simple, particularly with not being permitted to have a prize giving as normal, and so just selected the age groups as advertised on the event page.

Thanks for a great night. I did say a thank you to just about everyone, especially the organisers.
Having just seen the results, I only have one comment, and that is with the age categories.
The 60+ age category is no longer there. The 60+ category has always been used previously, but not on this occasion?
Sadly that places me in the 55+ category, which, clearly places me right down the list within the category.
Don’t get me wrong, I would like to be about 10 years younger, but in real terms I prefer to race with my counterparts.
