34th Matthew Walker 10K

The Matthew Walker Pud Run will take place on:

Sunday 15th November 2020 at 10:00am.

Following the record number of entries (and finishers) in 2019, the 2020 event will again see an increase with the limit of entries rising to 1500!

Due to the continuing developments taking place at the former American Adventure Theme Park, the course will be the same as the 2019 race.

The event will start and finish as usual at Shipley Park Visitor Centre. Route maps and course description can be found here:

All finishers will receive a Matthew Walker Christmas pudding and technical t-shirt.

Course records will be up for grabs, which means there will be cash prizes in addition to the usual hampers for race and category winners.

 2019’s race saw a record number of 1093 finishers enjoy mulled wine, mince pies and Christmas puddings  at Shipley Park.

The Fun Run also saw a fantastic turnout – and will be back in 2020.

Designated Charity

Since 2014, proceeds from entries to the Heanor Running Club Christmas Pud Run have gone to support local charities.

The designated charity for 2019 was the Boparan Charitable Trust.

The Boparan Charitable Trust aims to help children and young people up to the age of 18, throughout the Uk, who are disadvantaged either through poverty, disability or life-limiting conditions.
