Pud Run on course to sell out

SONY DSC

With 12 days to go until the closing date for entries, the Matthew Walker Christmas Pudding 10k looks set to sell out for the third-successive year.

740 entries have already been received for the popular event, which will take place on Sunday 22 November.

One of the largest 10k club-organised road races in the region, this year’s running also sees a fun run added to the bill for the first time in the event’s 29-year history.

Heanor Running Club is proud to support the Derbyshire Air Ambulance Service and £1.00 from each entry fee will be donated to ensure the service can continue its crucial lifesaving work.

Wet conditions weren’t enough to dampen spirits as a record number of finishers embraced the brand new course twelve months ago.

884 finishers were led home by Rich Weir and Lisa Palmer as the pair repeated their victories from 2013 to take home the prize money and generous hampers.

See the 10k Pud Run pages for more information on this year’s race and details on how to enter.
