Final results of the HRC Grand Prix

Some top running and 34 runners kicked off the 2018 Heanor Running Club Grand Prix.
Same as last year prizes are awarded for runners who finish first in their category AND complete all four races.

Categories are:
Senior men; MV40; MV45; MV50 and MV55
Senior Lady; LV35; LV40; LV45; LV50 and LV55

RACE 1 (5 miles):
Sam Marsh was the first home in an impressive 29:03 with Samantha Crowe first lady in 33:27

RACE 2 (7 miles):
Ashley Deeming led the field home in 43:41, but was ran close by Ian Duffin with 43:47.
Samantha Crowe was again first lady home in 47:31

RACE 3 (10K):
Sam Marsh returned with a resounding victory in the rapid time of 35:36
All the category leaders consolidated their positions at the top though the Senior Men’s title is definitely still up for grabs if Ryan can put Liam under some pressure in the final 5k race!

RACE 4 (5K):
Another good turnout saw the final places decided in the final race, the 5k.
Again Ashley Deeming and Samantha Crowe were the first home in a race filled with excellent times.

It was good to see so many runners complete all four and showing the results of some hard training – well done everyone.
