Unlucky for some but 13th for Lily in Milton Keynes
Lily Winfield finished an impressive 13th at the combined British Athletics Cross Challenge and Chiltern XC League event in Milton Keynes today.
The long-running Cross Challenge is a series of four races across the winter beginning in Liverpool in November and culminating at the CAU Inter-Counties race at Cofton Park, Birmingham next month.
Lily, who has already bagged the North Midlands Cross Country League U13 title and finished sixth at the Midland XC Championships at Wollaton Park last month, finished 13th overall and now looks ahead to the National XC at Parliament Hill in two weeks’ time.
